What I’ve Been Wearing This Week

I haven’t been wearing makeup a lot this week but when I have this has been my go to look.  It’s nice and light look for daytime which I could just add a little eyeliner to take it to a night look.  I’ve been using Benefit Porefessional to keep my oily skin and large pores in check, then I use the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet which is a favourite of mine at the moment.  For concealer, I recently purchased the Napoleon Perdis One Mighty Concealer Pen in Pink Beige, this doesn’t completely cover my dark circles but it’s been doing the job for now.  For cheeks I’ve rediscovered Milani Baked Powder Blush in Luminoso, this is absolute perfection!  It gives a beautiful subtle glow whilst adding a lovely peachy flush to the checks.

Now to the fun stuff!  On my eyes I have been using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.  I use burnouta light shimmery pinkover the lid then I place nooner, a matte dusty rose, in the crease.  Then for a little bit of drama I smudge blackheat, black with a pink shimmer, along the lash line.  Don’t be afraid of the pink shimmer, with the tiny amount I use you cannot see it.  I’ve gone back  the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara in Black.  I find this mascara can be a little wet, I love the effect once it has dried out a little but initially it seems to clump my eyelashes together.  When I begin a new one of these I tend to wipe off any excess with a tissue which seems to work.  For brows I’ve been going quite simple I just brushed through a little Benefit’s Gimme Brow in Light/Medium.  I love this product by itself or to set my filled in brows, it fills in any sparse areas as well as keeping them in place.

I finished off my look with the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Never Say Never.   I don’t actually want to admit how many of these lip pencils I own!  If I do it will just make me aware of how much money I spent on all of them!  They are however, my absolute lipstick nirvana and who can say no to nirvana.
