Disappointing Products

Before I get started on this post I just want to make a little disclaimer – I am not saying that any of these products are necessarily bad, it is just that they didn’t really work out for me.  So of you may really love these product and I really wanted to but I just didn’t get along with them.  So with that being said I actually really enjoy watching and reading disappointing product posts, the kind of give me an idea of what to try and if I’ve been looking at purchasing a product it sometimes saves me some precious money!

Let’s get down to it.  First up is Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleaner – This wasn’t a shocking product by no means but it was just kind of bland, it didn’t do a particularly brilliant job of taking off makeup wish is really what I bought it for, even after double cleansing I still found I had makeup left on my face.  It also left a very waxy residue on my face which wasn’t a particularly pleasant feeling.  I did plan to use this up but in the end I just couldn’t put up with it.  Sticking with skincare I purchased an overnight mask, its the Nude Advanced Renewal Overnight Repair Mask – I purchased this instead of sticking with my favourite Origins overnight mask and boy am I disappointed.  I put this onto freshly cleansed skin before I go to bed and massage it into my face as it says but when I wake up in the morning my face feels very dry and patch, I think it’s not creamy enough or something but my skin does not get along with it which is a real shame as it wasn’t cheap!  Another skincare item which is more aimed at tanning I suppose is the St Tropez Self Tan Sensitive Bronzing Lotion Face – I don’t really like using the body tan for my face as it really dries it out so I purchased this in the hopes that it wouldn’t dry my face out and as for sensitive skin I thought it wouldn’t aggravate my redness.  Now it didn’t do either of these things but it also didn’t tan my face, I did not even notice a hint of a tan.  I suppose if I used this over a few days it might make a difference but I don’t really like to stray from my nighttime routine for too long.

Now on to the makeup portion of this post.  First up is a very new product which really disappoints me it’s the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy in Precious Petal – I was really excited to try out their version of a liquid lipstick however, as soon as I really tried it out I was disappointed.  It was really patchy on my lips, definitely not opaque so I tried with a liner underneath and it still looked really patchy.  It also didn’t last very long which I’ve never really encountered with a liquid lipstick.  Now this wasn’t cheap so I don’t think I will be purchasing another one thats for sure.  I have been on the lookout for an amazing gel liner for a long time and I thought I would give a drugstore one a go so I purchased the Rimmel Gel Liner in Black – At first I really enjoyed this, it was really black and matte which is brilliant and went on very something however, after a few uses it started to dry up now I am alway really careful to put the lid back on straight away after I use them as I know they dry up easily so this was a real shock when it dried up so quickly.  Finally I have a product that I never thought would feature in a  disappointing products post, it’s the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom in Very Black – If you have ever read anything from my blog I’m pretty sure a covergirl mascara has featured in a post at least once a week.  I am obsessed with the Covergirl Clump Crusher Extensions, I going to call it may favourite ever mascara so I thought I would love this mascara but unfortunately I didn’t, I feel like it didn’t really get all of my lashes, it just kind of barely coated them.  Now I know this is supposed to be a super natural looking mascara but I think it might be a little bit too natural for me.

So there we have it, some unfortunately disappointing products.  Have you tried any of these?  I would love to know if you had any success with them?

It’s been a while since i’ve done an empties post so over the past month or so I’ve been saving up al the products I have finished up ready to share with you my thoughts.

First up is the Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Scrub – I got this beauty in a nice little pack with the geranium leaf moisturiser but I was so excited to try the scrub.  It has that typical Aesop earthy scent which I actually love and boy does this do a decent job of scrubbing that dead skin off!  It has nice big particles that are rough without being to abrasive, I love using this before my fake tan as well as taking of any remnants of tan.  I have to say it is one of the better scrubs I have tried so I think this might be a repurchase.  Sticking to the body care I gave Lush the Olive Branch Shower Gel a try, they suggested this one as it is nice a moisturising which was perfect in the winter months, the scent was heavenly as well which surprised me as I didn’t really expect olive to be particularly nice but it was a lucky surprise.  Now this was a bit of a splurge for me, I normally just stick to supermarket shower gels and to be honest I’ll probably go back to them but maybe every now and then I’ll splurge and treat myself.

Next up is an all time favourite and an absolute staple in my beauty collection, it’s the Cyber Colors Zero Pore Primer – This is literally the best primer I have ever tried, it blurs the pores as much as a primer can and really controls the shine!  I pretty much use this everyday so I’ve got two backups always ready to go.  If you want to read more about this primer I’ve got a post dedicated here.  I’ve finally finished the By Terry Baume De Rose – I had a little cry when scraped the last little bit out of the tub, it’s just so luxurious and does such a brilliant job but the main reason for the tear was that I know I will probably never own this again!  This tiny little tub was $80 which is, in my eyes, a little bit ridiculous hence why I will never own it again.  Next up is Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep – I really loved this product, it gave a fair bit of colour payoff and its tiny brush meant you could really get every hair and keep my unruly eyebrows in shape.  I probably wouldn’t repurchase this having said all that, I just feel that for the price it ran out far too quickly and now that other brands like L’oreal are making similar products where is no need to splash out on this one.  Finally I finished up one of my all time favourite scents, it’s Flora by Gucci – this is such a beautiful fresh scent that is floral yet sweet and something that I could really wear everyday and don’t worry guys I’ve got a back up!

So there you go, my empties from the last couple of months.  What have you guys finished up?

Haul Time!

It has been quite a while since i’ve done a haul, I have a feeling that may be due to the fact that I am incredibly poor.  Damn you Europe flights!  However, over the last month or so I have still managed to do some damage so I thought I would share with you some of my cheeky little purchases.

First of all I went on a little bit of a Clinique spree, they had a great offer on when you spend $60 or over so I spent way over $60 and got a few free travel sized items which will be perfect for my trip.  The first item I wanted was the newish Clinique Lip Pop in Nude Pop – I’ve seen so many people in the beauty world swoon over these lipsticks so I new I just had to get my hands on one, they are quite a hefty price but I’m quite happy I forked out the money for one.  The nude pop is such a great everyday colour that can easily be applied without a mirror, bonus!  Another lip product I got was the Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss in Apricot – I just thought this would be perfect so chuck in my handbag and use on a day to day basis when I need something that will moisturise my lips as well as adding a hint of colour.  I’m definitely taking this with me to Europe, my lips always get so dry in the cold so this will be a lifesaver!  The last Clinique product I purchased was the Moisture Surge Facial Spray – This promises to be a thirsty skin relief spray which is exactly what I need!  My dry spots are out of control at the moment so I want to grab anything that will help.  I’ve only had this a few days now but it feels so lovely and refreshing, I think it will be lovely underneath makeup as well.  Again it’s going to be another item I take on the plane with me!

As I mentioned my dry spots have been out of control of late!  It almost feels like sand paper!  So I really wanted to find something that will really deal with it.  I’ve been using mask upon mask upon mask but they have only been doing so much so when I heard ttsandra mentioned the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 Soothing Repair Balm I thought my prayers had been answered.  Sandra explained that after a bout of vigorous exfoliating she found her skin extremely dry and sand paper like so she began to use the Cicaplast to reduce the texture issues.  This is exactly my issue, texture!  So I purchased this a couple of days ago and have been using it twice a day so fingers crossed this really works, I will keep you posted.

So as you may know I am new to the whole lip gloss game, so on my last trip to the shops I wanted to pick up a few more to see what was really out there.  First up was a recommendation from a lovely reader, its the Maybelline The Elixer in Mauve Mystique – These feel like absolute heaven on the lips, so creamy and not sticky at all.  I’m not sure about the colour I got though but we shall see. This gloss was also a recommendation from a lovely reader it’s the NYX Butter Gloss in Angel Food Cake – This is such a stunning colour, that very in pinky brown shade which goes with everything, I’ve got some really good use out of this one so far and I’ve found that pairing it with MAC Whirl lip pencil looks really beautiful.  After hitting up the NYX stand I headed over to trusty old Rimmel and grabbed one of their Oh My Gloss glosses, for the life of me I cannot find what shade this is in but again it’s that pinky brown shade that I am in love with at the moment.  I haven’t used this a lot at the moment but I  imagine I’ll love it.  My final product is a nail polish, it’s the Maybelline Colour Show in Pinkalicious – This is a stunning muted neon pink that I have been wearing on my nails since I purchased it, it applies like a dream however, it does chip quite easily but I really can’t complain for the price.

So there we have it another day another haul.  I just can’t help myself sometimes!  What have you been buying recently?

Lip Envy

I am obsessed with lip balm, I always have to have at least one on me at all times so this post it dedicated to some of the man  lip balms I own and use on a regular basis.

I’m going out hard to begin with, probably the most frivolous purchase I have ever made it’s the By Terry Baume de Rose – This lip balm is probably the best one I have ever purchased and I tell you what it would want to be for the price tag.  It is so creamy and luxurious on the lips and has a heavenly scent of rose, if my lips are in a dire situation this is the lip balm I head for. Next up is a new one but something that I can see myself getting a lot of use from it’s the Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss in Apricot –  I purchased this the other day thinking it would be incredibly useful to have in my handbag, something that is moisturising yet has a hint of colour.  It has a lovely subtle peachy pink shade and adds a beautiful gloss to the lips.  I also think this will be great for travelling, my lips always get super dry on planes so I’ll definitely have this in my carryon.  Another brilliant all rounder lip balm is the cult classic Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream – This is an absolute classic for a reason, it does everything!  I use this on my lips every night before I go to bed and know that it will protect them, it also works on my hands and cuticles when they are a bit dry and when my dry flaky patches on my cheeks to add some real moisture and protection.  Now that is a real all rounder isn’t it?  I have also had this one tube for a very long time so you’re really getting your moneys worth with this one!  This next one is a real favourite of mine it’s the Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid – I have had a few Lanolips products in the past including their 101 ointment and enjoyed them so much so I knew I would love the Lemonaid lip aid as well.  This is perfect as it is extremely moisturising as well as having little flecks in it which very gently exfoliates the lips which really comes in handy when they are particularly dry.  The smell of this is stunning, it’s so fresh and lemony, just another reason to love it.  Finally I have quite an unusual lip balm it’s the Aesop Rosehip Seed Lip Cream – As the name suggests it is a lip cream so the texture is quite thin unlike most balms that are very thick but this cream really sinks into the lips and leave a protective barrier.  What I like to do most with this one is layer it under a thicker balm, that way you get double the moisture.  Again the scent is beautiful, much like all the Aesop products it has a great earthiness to it.

Seeing as I can’t live without lip balm I would love to hear what lip balms you love?

I love reading and watching people’s empties blogs, they are really helpful as you can find out exactly what someone thought about the product after they have used it all up!  So over the last couple weeks and months I’ve been saving up my empty products to do a review on what I thought of them.

First up is Nars Laguna Bronzer – This is not the first one of these I have gone through, I love the stuff!  It is so worth the hype, its not too warm which allows it to look natural.  This is a product I use pretty much everyday so I have already replaced this and got a new one on the go.

The Origins Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask – Is my absolute saviour! I discovered this a couple of months ago and have been using it two nights a week since I bought it.  I put it on freshly cleansed skin before I go to bed and I wake up with bright plump and hydrated skin.  This has been especially brilliant in winter and it really helps the dry patches on my jawline ease up a bit and not look so obvious.  I am repurchasing this little beauty next week!

Another skincare item is Indeed Laboratories Hydroluron – Another skin saviour! This is the product I use to really add some hydration to my skin, its an integral part of my skincare routine so I will definitely be repurchasing this one.

I was very sad to run out of one of my favourite scents Narciso Rodriguez For Her – I bought this one years ago but It has been in consistent rotation, its such a musky wintery scent which is perfect for this time of year.  Another reason I’m sad it’s empty.  Look I probably won’t repurchase this one yet, I have so many perfumes that it would probably be a waste of money but I would definitely recommend it.

Next up is Ren Rosa Centafolia Hot Cloth Cleanser – I thoroughly enjoyed this product!  It’s a cream product that you use on dry skin and then it turns into a kind of oil, it is perfect for removing makeup, it gets every single trace of makeup off your skin.  It’s also very nourishing on the face and quite hydrating which has been great for the Autumn and Winter months.  I haven’t repurchased this yet as I am using a Lush one at the moment but I would love to repurchase it in the future.

The Lanolips 101 Ointment – is bloody brilliant!  Its so thick and nourishing and its the perfect lip balm for seriously chapped lips.  I took this one with me to India and it saved my lips, I was using it a thousand times a day!  It was especially brilliant for the plane trip as well.  I will definitely be taking another one when I go to Europe.

Finally I have been using the Oral B 3D White Whitestrips – I have never tried these before but I had heard such great things that I wanted to give them ago.  At first I was using them twice a day on top and bottom teeth however, the made my teeth super super sensitive especially on my bottom teeth so I cut it down to once a day and on my bottom teeth every second day.  These worked really quickly!  I noticed a change within three days of using them, not that my teeth were too yellow but now they are amazingly white.  I’m definitely heading back to chemist warehouse to get some more of these.

So there you go, some empty products I’ve been using and loving!  What products have you finished up?  Did you enjoy them?

Korean Skincare

I’ve been hearing a lot about Korean skincare lately and I’ve been doing some research on the kind of products they use everyday.  Something that really struck me was the importance of toners and essences so this really made me want to try it out.  I went to beautynetKorea to see what I could get my hands on.

I’m currently quite happy with my cleanser and moisturiser so I really wanted to try a new toner and a new serum.  Now my skin type is combination/oily yet in winter I get some dry patches along my jawline that is really not attractive when my makeup clings to it!  So I was looking for something that would hydrate those areas yet wouldn’t make my make me look really shiny with makeup on.  I spotted the Secret Key Rose Floral Softening Toner – this promises to soften the skin which I though would be perfect to soften up this icky dry patches and hydrate the skin without the abrasiveness of a lot of toners.  This toner is really beautiful and refreshing, it refreshes the skin whilst adding some moisture to the skin. I’ve been using this for about a month now and I really think its working!  I use this after I wash my fine and it has been leaving my skin nice and soft as well as plump.  Next I heard about the popularity of essences, this is a water substance that has a shed load of transforming properties and will add brightness and clarity to your skin, what’s not to love about that? This is the Tony Moly Intense Care –  I use this one straight after the toner. I love these two products because they are super moisturising yet it doesn’t feel like you have a thousand products on your face, they are so thin that it just feels like you have splashed your face with water.  After this step I use the Deep Sea Marine Collagen Ampoule – this is a type of serum that is super concentrated and is full of all the good stuff.  This particular one offers a collagen boost as well a a lot of hydration, this again is a beautifully thin substance so I use this morning and night and it doesn’t add any greasiness to my skin.  This ampoule literally plumps up my skin on touch, I can noticeably see the difference when I am applying it, it clears the skin by smoothing it out and just adds some supple plumpness giving me a very youthful look.   At night I put this on after the essence and before my hydroluron and night cream.

Now as these products were pretty darn cheap I wasn’t convinced that they were going to do anything spectacular to my skin however, I can now eat my words!  Over the past month my skin has been looking better and better, it is really well hydrated, super plump from the ampoule and it has a lot more clarity to it.  I still do have a bit of redness but my skin in general is much clearer and has a much better look and texture.  I honestly think I am now a convert to Korean skincare, they definitely know what they are doing!

Night Time Skincare Routine

I try so hard with skincare, but sometimes I’m really not sure what I’m doing!  So lately I’ve been reading up on skincare on Caroline Hirons website trying to get a real understanding of what my routine should be and heres what I’ve got so far.

My first step is using the Ren Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser to thoroughly cleanse my skin.  If I’m wearing a lot of makeup I will take that off with the Garnier Micellar Water first, I’m sure many people would double cleanser with the Ren cleanser but to be honest I don’t have enough money to go through it that quickly!  Next up I use a serum the Loreal Skin Perfection Serum this really smooths my skin out and is a great light layer to add to my skin first.  This one is pretty much finished but I’m not really sure weather I should repurchase this or try something else.  After this one I use a fairly new product to me, something I bought in India to save my skin after some serious neglect.  Its The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil – I’d never really though of using an oil on my skin before seen as I would call myself a very oily girl however, after the disastrous state it was in after India I was willing to try anything!  I’ve been using this consistently for a month now and I really do think I am seeing a difference, my skin is smoother and more plump and its slowly, slowly getting rid of my dry patches on my cheeks.

IMG_1040After the oil comes another serum because apparently two are not enough!  So I use my Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron – Caroline said that hydroluron is the last step as it is quite thick, at this stage I’m not sure whether this itself is making a difference to my skin or whether its a combination of everything so I think i’ll just keep using it as it seems to be working with everything else.  Finally I use a night time moisturiser its the Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins – I love this night cream because it isn’t extremely thick!  Most night creams I’ve tried are ridiculously thick and I just find them suffocating but this is lovely and light and sinks into the skin immediately.  Now for bonus time!  Two or three times a week I use the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – this gives a major shot of moisture! You put it on that night and wake up with baby soft skin that looks beautifully plump.

As I am not expert in the skincare world I’m still not sure if I’m doing this right so If you have any tips or suggestions I would much appreciate it!

May Favourites!

It’s that time of the month, favourites time!  May has been a quiet month but it hasn’t stopped me from finding a few things to love!

First up is a product I bought this month and already love it!  Its the YSL Fusion Ink Foundation in B20 – this foundation is just so smoothing on the skin as well as being super super easy to apply.  It also lasts all dang day which is what I’m really looking for in a foundation.  There has been a bit of fuss about the amount of alcohol in the product but to be honest I haven’t noticed it doing anything abnormal to my skin.  I honestly think this will be a favourite for a long time.  Next up is something I bought in India to try and fix my dehydrated skin but when I got home I kind of forgot about it.  It’s The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum-in-oil –  Over the last month when my skin was feeling particularly scaly I pulled this one out and it has made an amazing difference!  I use it at night after my other serums and it just sinks in the skin and I wake up with beautiful soft and plump skin.  Lips wise I haven’t been able to stop wearing the YSL Volute Tint- in -Oil in No 5 Cherry My Cherie – this one is unique to me, I am normally not a gloss girl however, I thought the oil would be a real help in the winter months.  This is beautifully nourishing and leaves a lovely bright pink tint behind.  I wear this a lot to uni or work when I don’t want to be reapplying lipstick all day.

Eyes wise I have been sticking to a simple look of Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in Latte and Rimmel Gel Eyeliner in Black – I use Latte through my crease to get some definition and then smudge a thin line of the Rimmel liner on the top lash line.  This is just a great classic look that looks amazing on anyone plus it doesn’t matter what lipstick I wear with it whether it be nude or bright.  Finally I’ve been switching up my eyebrow products a lot lately and I’ve rediscovered my Natio Brow Kit in Light Medium – I used to use this religiously, which you can probably tell by the state of it, its just a simple powder but it just really seems to work on my brows.  It comes in two shades as well which is great for me as I seem to change my hair colour a lot!  I don’t use the wax that comes with it anymore I normally just add a clear gel over the top.  I just think this is a brilliant product at such a good price!

So there you go, May favourites!  What have been your favourites this month?

Glorious Face Masks

Korean skin care has been getting some major traction in the beauty world lately so I though I would share with you some of the Korean sheet masks I have plus a few other face masks that I couldn’t live without.

Recently my mum and dad had a little trip to Singapore so of course I put my order in and this time I wanted to try some skincare considering how much makeup I bought when I was in Singapore.  So I asked mum to head to Etude House to pick up some of their sheets masks.  I had heard a lot about sheet masks and used a couple but after Lisa Eldridge raved about them I knew I had to try more.  These ones from Etude House come in large range for any skin concerns, I mainly focussed on hydrating and smoothing for my oily/combination skin.  I really wanted to concentrate on smoothing and hydrating my dry patches that I get in winter, they are the absolute bane of my existence.  I have a little selection in this photo and have already tried the pomegranate and olive ones, they really did hydrate and smooth my skin, my skin looked so fresh and supple.  To be honest these sheet masks look super freaky when they’re on your face, they are a white cotton sheet (hence the name) that just has cut outs for your eyes and mouth as I said super freaky!  But they work so I love them!

As well as the sheet masks my mum picked me up some eye masks, how cute are those little cucumber ones!  The first ones are Anti Dark Circle Eye Pads from Color Combos Skin – I have yet to try these but I’m very intrigued, I have some serious dark circles so if these work I’ll be in heaven!  The cute little cucumber ones are Cooling Cucumber Pads from Skin Lite – again I haven’t tried these but they’re so cute I don’t want to open them!  I’ve been flat chat with uni at the moment which means late nights and early morning so some cooling eye pads might be just what I need!

Moving away from the Korean skin care I thought I would share my other favourite face masks.  First up is one that is fairly new to be but that I fell in love with instantly!  It’s the Origins Overnight Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – I got this one after I got back from India and my skin was in desperate need of moisture!  I use this after cleansing before I go to bed and then wake up with soft plumped and supple skin.  I tend to use this about 2-3 times a week depending how my skin is feeling, its just an absolute miracle worker.  I will definitely be repurchasing this one.  Next up is an absolute beauty world favourite its the Aesop Parsley Seed Clarifying Mask – This is absolute perfection in a tube, I don’t know how it does it but it smooths and clears my skin and someone shrinks my pores slightly!  Again I use this about 2 times a week and I often follow it up with either a sheet mask or the Origins mask to give my skin a real treat.

What are you favourite masks?  I’m still fairly new to the mask game so If you have any suggestion please let me know!

Disappointing Products

Now you might think that this is a little bit of a negative post but I absolutely love reading and watching posts about disappointing products.  I really think they’re a good idea, it often saves me money on products that I would have bought so I thought it might save you as well.  These are entirely my own views so if you own and love some of these products that is fantastic, its just my opinion here.

First up is the Charlotte Tilbury Take It all Off Eye Makeup Remover – I got this is in a Charlotte Tilbury pack with eyeshadow, eyeliner and a few other bits and bobs.  Now I’m not saying that this is absolutely terrible its just doesn’t do an amazing job, to get my non waterproof mascara off I have to absolutely soak a cotton pad and rest them on my eyes for quite a long time and it still doesn’t remove it all.  As well as that the products squirts out everywhere when you try to pump it on your cotton pad.  I am using it up but I much prefer my Garner Micelar water.  Next up is Australis Highlights Mineral Face Highlighter in Pearl – Again this isn’t a shocking product it just doesn’t work well on my skin.  When I place this on my cheekbones over my foundation it separates and removes the foundation from that area.  I’m sure this would be lovely mixed in with a little bit of foundation for a very glowy look but over the top of foundation it just doesn’t work on me.  I think I’ll stick to my powder highlighters.  Sticking with the face I have MAC Face and Body in N1 – This is probably quite controversial, its a very loved product in the beauty world but for me I just don’t have that love for it.  First of all I find it quite hard to blend, its quite sticky or something, second of all I don’t find it easy to build up, I can never get the right amount of coverage I need.  Finally this isn’t an oily girls friend!  I get super shiny from it which I am definitely not a fan of for obvious reasons.  Now I’ve talked about this product in a previous post here, and mentioned that I am not a fan but I thought I would mention it here as well.  This is the Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Liner in Mint Julep – I just really expected this eyeliner to draw a opaque line that would really striking on the top lash line however, it was really patchy and was impossible to get a smooth line so not a fan at all of that one.  Maybe I’ll like the eyeliner in another colour.  Eyebrow wise I have Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pen in Universal Deepshade – I love the idea of an eyebrow pen that can draw on realistic looking hairs with a sharp texta.  However, this shade isn’t quite right, it is very cool toned turning almost grey on my skin.  It also king of seeps into my skin making it look like I have dark grey patches all over my eyebrows.  I just can’t seem to draw precise little lines without it bleeding into a blob!  Not a cool look at all!  Finally I have a skin care product, its the Ren Resurfacing AHA Concentrate – In winter I get these lovely little dry patches on my jaw line that look really lovely under foundation – NOT!  When I read about this product I thought it would ‘resurface’ these dry patches and make them a little bit smoother and less noticeable.  It did not.  In fact it actually made them a little bit worse, my whole skin kind of dried out even after slathering on a hydrating serum and hydrating night cream.  I’ve used this for over a month now and I’m just not getting any results which is disappointing as I love Ren products!

So there you go, some products that I just haven’t been able to get along with.  Have you tried any of these products?  How have they been for you?
